Remy International had its start in 1896 when Frank and Perry Remy opened a home wiring business in Anderson, Indiana. In 1901 the Remy Electric Company was incorporated. Today Remy is a worldwide corporation with facilities in 11 countries and four different continents.
Remy is a major supplier for such original equipment manufacturers as GM, Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai/Kia. It is also one of the largest producers of remanufactured starters and alternators for the aftermarket.
